FACEBOOK STUPIDITY

 
IF YOU DON'T HAVE A LIFE, GET ONE!

I think that people devote too much time and effort into other people's business on facebook. Some people take facebook too seriously. Recently, I decided to deactivate my facebook account for my very own personal reasons. In specific, I felt like I was devoting too much of my time just being logged on.....not trying to bash anyone else for doing so, but I felt like there was other things that I could be doing other than just being on facebook. I wanted to read a couple of books and see if I could apply to a couple of graduate schools instead of just being on facebook. I'm also trying to cut down on the time that I spend on youtube as well, but that's another story. Anyways, I deactivated my account on Thursday 2/2/12 and I received the following email on my YOUTUBE account on 2/3/12.

   

        " This is ...... I think it's stupid that you added me as a friend on facebook and then you blocked me or deleted me. You first contacted me when you were getting married. I don't if you thought i'd be jealous or what. But I really don't care. I just had to say something about that. Why contact me in the first place? I don't see your point. Don't contact me again out the blue for future references."

First, this chick should really learn how to proofread her emails if she's going to be nasty. Second, she had the audacity to send such an irate email for absolutely nothing. She's lucky that my facebook is still deactivated or else it would've been hell to pay. It's disgusting how people think as if your life revolves around them. Facebook is not a priority in my life and it's really not that serious. I'm not the one to allow someone to speak to me or email me in such a nasty demeanor. I do not turn my back or turn my cheek whenever someone comes for me..........especially for no reason at all. My response:

First, your idiotic message! "I'm going to be as polite as I possibly can in response to your irate message. I don't owe you or anyone else any explanation for any of my actions on facebook. I temporary deleted my account on facebook just yesterday and you are emailing me for what? Get a life! The world doesn't revolve around you and it has nothing to do with you. The fact that you even took the time to write me such a nasty email is just disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself. Maybe you should seek out some help or do some self medicating about your self esteem issues. Before you first go accusing someone of wrong doing, maybe you should first question if there is another underlying issue going on. I wrote you trying to be cordial, and yet again you proved that you are not worth my time or effort. You claimed that you didn't care about me supposedly deleting you as a friend on facebook, yet you send me an idiotic email on youtube. How dare you bring up jealousy. Sweetie, who cares if you are jealous or not. Only people with insecurities would even think in such a way. My life is great and if you feel that you must work extra hard to compete, then kudos to you. You don't have to worry about me contacting you for future references...there's absolutely no need for me to put up with your foolishness. I think it's a serious issue whenever you can't be genuinely nice to an individual without them showing their ugly side for no apparent reason." God bless!

I really do think that people take facebook out of context. I do plan to reactivate my facebook account, but in due time. I'm not in a rush and I don't miss facebook at all. BTW, this female decided to respond back to my message, but she made herself look more stupid. There wasn't much that she could say because she was in the wrong. I do feel like my message pinched a nerve and that it may have helped her to realize that she shouldn't go around stalking my facebook page.
